Pets for Patriots

Norfolk Animal Care & Adoption Center joined forces with Pets for Patriots, Inc., to increase the adoption of adult and other at-risk shelter pets and help our service men and women find loyal pet companions.

Pets for Patriots is a national  501(c)(3) charity connecting adult and other at-risk shelter pets with members of the U.S. military. Individuals are eligible to join the program at any stage of their careers and from all armed forces.

 

Working with Pets for Patriots gives our veterans, service members and their families the gift of unconditional friendship and love while providing millions of dogs and cats a second chance at life.

 

By adopting eligible dogs and cats through shelter partners, Pets for Patriots members gain access to ongoing discounted veterinary care and financial support towards the purchase of pet food and other basics.
